Rajnidhi Mandala

The Rajnidhi Mandala: Gaddi is hand-stitched in crimson cotton silk, its centerpiece embroidered with a circular mandala of vines and blossoms in resham threads of ivory and green. Tiny mirrors are inlaid within the pattern, catching glimmers of light like stars around a full moon. The border is worked in floral creepers, framed by pleated edges meticulously folded and attached by hand, giving the cushion its regal structure.

This gaddi recalls ceremonial seating in Gujarat and Rajasthan, where mandala motifs symbolized auspiciousness and cosmic balance. Resting against marigold garlands or rich drapery, it carries the aura of festive gatherings into any space. More than a pillow cover, it is a throne-like accent — crafted for devotion, celebration, and timeless grace.
