Sindoori Jaal

The Sindoori Jaal: Gaddi is woven in Banarasi silk, its deep sindoor-red field patterned with a lattice of diamonds that shimmer with golden zari. At its center and corners, floral medallions bloom in raised embroidery, each formed by layering metallic threads in tight coils until the motifs seem to float above the fabric. The border is finished with pleated silk panels, hand-folded and stitched with care, giving the cushion an elegant frame that recalls ceremonial regalia.

Inspired by the royal seating traditions of Banaras and Awadh, this gaddi carries the aura of darbars where every cushion was a proclamation of craft and prestige.
